Bright Women || Inspired Branding: Sofia Coppola

The first woman in our Bright Women || Inspired Branding series: the one and only Sofia Coppola. THIS lady. So many reasons to love her beyond amazing films and killer red carpet looks. Here are my top 5 reasons for not only picking her for this series, but for branding her as you’ll see in the board below.

Step Brightly's Inspirational Women Series: Sofia Coppola

Sofia Coppola
  1. Any picture of her – whether it be at work or play, in the New York Times or Vogue – commands serious respect.
  2. She’s a woman not only following in her father’s footsteps, in what has been a predominantly male career, but she’s dominating with her work.
  3. She’s so worldly and sophisticated looking, I imagine her speaking with a French accent. Even though she’s American.
  4. She pushes strollers, wears high heels and wins Oscars.
  5. Her strength and demeanor are feminine, not overbearing. I just imagine her being both gracious and graceful all the time.

  1. I am so, so, so excited about this series. How clever and lovely and wonderful!

As the mom of a little lady to the soon-to-be mom of a little lady, I highly recommend Sofia Coppola’s conversation with Lee Radziwill from the Times.

  2. Thank you Julie! I read this article a few weeks ago, and was so impressed with how grounded Sofia Coppola is. It is going to be difficult to navigation our little girls self-esteem and privacy in today’s socially driven world. Any advice we can get I am going to covet.
