DIY Your Wedding starting with the invites

Catalog Styling: Lisa Gaino

Last night I attended a “Paper Wedding workshop” hosted by Paper Source, whom I use to work for as their Senior Design Manager for Catalog and website.

It was a lovely affair; personable, entertaining, messy with glitter and glue, but overall a good experience. The wedding industry is so enormous and overwhelming for a bride, (at least I think so) it is nice to have the one-on-one attention with a retail associate to help surf through all the choices. I have been designing wedding invites on a freelance basis for friends and family for years and will have some images up soon to share with you.

Having a person to talk through the choices, from invites to stamps, to table top favors, it really does make a difference. There is so much going on in the Wedding Industry. I am getting married this year and have been digging around for the best DIY options out there. Really, a wedding under $10,000 can be done and in the Chicago area too!  More on that later. Till then, enjoy these pictures from my work with Paper Source.
